We are now based on White Lund in Morecambe. Due to the style of cheerleading we do we needed somewhere with a high ceiling and open space- we think weve found the perfect ‘Cheer House’!… Take a look!

On 3 October The Bay Stormers Cheerleaders moved to our very own premises. Our new address is:

Mats and other items for the ‘cheer house’ have been bought through the huge efforts from everyone and their fundraising – we are now settling in and finally have our own trophy Cabinet!

Bay Stormers school/university clubs compete at Telford International Centre

On 21 April Salendine Nook attended the National Schools competition held at Telford International centre. They walked away with a 3rd place in level 3 stunt group and a 2nd place in level 2 cheer – what a successful day!

On the 22nd April the Univesity of Cumbria Saints had the National University Competition also held in Telford and performed their rouitne amazingly well, doing themselves very proud at their very first competition!

BCA Northern Classics 2011

This was our 4th competition- and what a competition it was- competitng agaisnt some amazing squads. All in all we came home with 6 more trophies! Not bad for a very tough competition!
Junior Trio Non-Tumble= 2nd place
Mini Cheer Level 1 = 4th Place
Mini Trio Tumble = 4th Place
Junior Duet Tumble = 4th Place
Junior Stunt Level 3 = 4th Place
Youth Cheer Level 1 = 5th Place (Out of 12- Fab for their first competition in this age category)!

BCA North East Classics 2011

Our 3rd competition was by far our most successful one- BCA North east Classics on May 14th and 15th. E
ntering 15 routines and walking away with 14 trophies! A brilliant weekend- we cant wait to go back in 2012!

BCA Northern Classics 2010

On 4th and 5th December 2010, the Bay Stormers hit Blackpool for the BCA Northern Classic 2010 at the Blackpool Winter Gardens. We had an amazing weekend and came home with six more trophies! Lets go Stormers!

Senior Cheer Level 1= 2nd Place.
Mini Trio Tumble= 3rd Place.
Mini Trio Non-Tumble= 3rd Place.
Youth Stunt Group= 3rd Place
Mini Duet Tumble= 4th Place.
Junior Cheer Level 1= 4th Place.
Thats 6 more lovely trophies to add to the collection- well deserved!!

Masters Squad

This squad is mostly made up of cheerleader’s parents who want to have a go themselves. Some of our members have no experience in dance or gymnastics but love the how much fun it is!

This squad really does prove no-one is too old to cheer and that you can get fit having fun! All shapes and sizes are needed to make a good team. All ages welcome.

During these sessions the Masters learn basic stunts, perform motions, jumps and pom dance – and the occasional cartwheel makes an appearance!
At the last competition a group of 5 Masters entered a stunt routine- missing out on a place by 2 points! It was a suprise tot he rest of the squad who didnt know that the ‘mums’ could do so well… Well done ladies!

Senior Squad

This competitive squad work hard but have fun at the same time. The seniors are entering cheer at level 2/3 at their next competition as well as a couple of stunt groups.
They are a friendly bunch and like developing their stunting ability. Some of the seniors are working on a level 4 stunt routine!

No experience is needed to train with this squad and we always welcome newbies!
This squad work hard on fitness and flexibility as well as pushing their stunting and gymnastic ability.

Junior Squad

The junior squad now has dramatically progressed with their stunting ability meaning they are now working at level 2 and also performing level 3 stunt routines whilst working on level 4 stunts! Some of the cheerleaders do around 4 hours of cheerleading a week. They also work hard on duets, trios and stunt group routines and are a very dedicated and friendly group!

Youth Squad

Most of the youth squad are between the ages 10 and 12 although some are younger. The next competition will see our first seperate Youth Squad competing. Some youths have previously competed with the Juniors and in duets, trios and stunt groups. We are excited to see what they can do in their first competition in this age range!

Mini Squad

The minis work really hard on their stunts and have progressed even further with their gymnastics aswell. Some of the squad also take part in duets, trios and stunt group routines.

Tinys squad

The tiny squad work on arm motions, jumps, pom dances and basic stunts- developing all areas of cheerleading. They play strengthening games and also work on flexibility.
